The Rose garden had been laid out in a circle, with eight pie shaped sections-- and each contained a different variety of rose, according to Mary Jane Parkinson the author of The Kellogg Arabian Ranch the First 60 Years. The rose garden remains a popular location on campus and will remain a part of California Polytechnic University's colorful history.
